4,000 pre-eladions to protect important infrastructure across J&K. Bharat News

Srinagar: The J&K government on Saturday said an official to deploy former military personnel to protect the important infrastructure in the federal area.The official said that 4,000 ex-servicemen volunteers have been identified for the initiative, and their role is “non-burning”, which focuses on stable guard duties, presence-based preventive and local coordination.Among the identified personnel, 435 have licensed individual weapons, which increase the ability to respond effectively to local security situations, the official said. He said, “They will be employed for conservation of important infrastructure in all 20 districts, including power stations, bridges, government establishment and other weak points,” he said.The initiative is based on success during the Kovid epidemic, where 2,500 ex -servicemen voluntarily worked to support the administration. The increase of up to 4,000 shows the increasing spirit of service between giants and trusts and has been repeated by the government and local population.
