’32 airports closed for civil flight options till 5.29 am on 15 May: Government | Bharat News

New Delhi: Thirty -two airports will be temporarily closed Civil flight operation Till 5.29 am on 15 May, DGCA said in a statement on Saturday morning. These airports are: Adhampur, Ambala, Amritsar, Avantpur, Bathinda, Bhuj, Bikaner, Chandigarh, Halwara, Hindon, Jaisalmer, Jammu, Jamnagar, Jodhpur, Kandla, Kangra (Gaggal), Keshod, Kuliluni, Bhanti, Bhatar, Bhantar, Bhantar, Bhatkar, Bhatkar, Bhatkar Pathankot, Patiala, Porbandar, Rajkot (Hirasar), Sarsawa, Shimla, Srinagar, Thois and Uttaralai., Airport authority of india (AAI) and relevant airlines have issued a series of notices to Airmen (NOTAMS), which is effective from May 9, 2025 to 14 May, 2025, while announcing the temporary shutdown of 32 airports in northern and western India for all civil flight operations, which is in line with 5.29 AM). DGCA details Said.AAI has also increased the temporary closure of 25 segments of the Air Traffic Services (ATS) routes within the Delhi and Mumbai Flight Information Areas (FIRs) due to operational reasons. “According to NOTAM G0555/25 (which replaces G0525/25), the 25 root segment will remain unavailable from the ground level to unlimited height on 15 May from 5.29 pm.”The DGCA has accordingly recommended “Airlines and flight operators plan alternative routing as per the current air traffic advice. Temporary bandage is being managed in coordination with relevant ATC units to ensure safety and reduce disruption.”
