The South Korean Naval patrol aircraft carrying four crew members crashed during a training flight on Thursday, resulting in three deaths, while the search for the fourth member is underway. The incident was reported by South Korean news agency, Yonhap.The Navy said in a statement that the P -3C patrol aircraft flew from Pohang’s base in the southeastern city of Pohang, but went down shortly after, which remain unclear. Officers are working to confirm the situation of the riders and determine the cause of the accident.Earlier, the Navy confirmed that no civilian casualties were reported on the ground. However, later during the day, three bodies were made from the plane to be members of the crew – were recovered from the accident site.Residents and fire trucks were sent to the accident site, when the residents saw an unknown object after an explosion after falling from the sky. The Yonhap news agency also released photos showing firefighters and at least one water truck on the spot, which shows flames and thick black-brown smoke through the surrounding trees.The incident is a month after one of South Korea’s deadliest aviation accidents. In December, a Jeju air passenger Jet crashed at the Muan International Airport in the south of the country, killing two in 181.
