28-year-old Indian-American Kevin Patel shot dead at Lincoln Park in Chicago

A 28 -year -old man Kevin Patel was shot dead in the neighborhood of Lincoln Park in Chicago on Wednesday night.
According to the Chicago Police Department, the shooting took place around 9:20 pm in 800-block of West Lill Avenue. Officials responded to the reports of bullets and found Patel lying on the pavement with a gun bullet on the chest. He was taken to Illinois Mesonic Medical Center, where he later died. The office of Cook County Medical Examiner later confirmed his identity.
A neighbor Garat Murce, who arrived in favor of Patel, described desperate attempt to save his life. “I grabbed the towels and ran down,” he said. Directed by a 911 operator, Murce and another neighbor tried to contraction of the chest and worked to keep Patel alert. “You almost make a personal relationship in those moments. The incident took place only at a distance from the office of 43rd ward Alderman Timmy Nudson. He addressed the violence in a statement, reminiscent of the ongoing fight against a citywide crime. Witnesses saw a man and a woman running away from the area shortly before the police arrived. No arrests have been made, and the area is under investigation of three spies.
