22 killed in restaurants in the city of Liaoyang, China; Video shows the scene of destruction

According to Chinese state media, a deadly fire broke out in a restaurant in Northeast China on Tuesday, killing 22 people and three others were injured.
The fire broke out after noon in Liyyang City, located in the province of Lianging. The restaurant was located near the Sunlizuang Rehabilitation Housing area in Beta district of the city.
A video, shared and verified online by AFP, featured a two -storey restaurant on the fire, growing with thick black smoke in the sky.
A video verified on the Chinese version of Tikok, Douin, showed paramedics carrying a victim in an ambulance on a stretcher and firefighters and used hoses to fight flames.
State Broadcaster CCTV said, “On April 29, a fire broke out in a restaurant near Sanilizuang Rehabilitation Housing in Bata District, Liayang City, Lianing Province,” state broadcaster CCTV said.
The emergency teams reached the spot, and the authorities confirmed that 22 people had lost their lives in the incident.
According to the state broadcaster, CCTV, Chinese President Xi Jinping said that Blaze caused “significant casualties” and the lesson from this was “severely serious”.
The report stated that Xi “made every effort to treat the injured, handled properly for the deceased and supported his families, determined the cause of rapid fire, and pursued accountability according to the law.”
