Within just 10 days of its dramatic run, the film has collected an impressive of Rs 94.65 crore in India, ahead of Tovino Thomas’ lifetime domestic collection of 2018, which was Rs 92.5 crore. This feat L2: Empuraan as the second largest grossing Malayalam film in Indian box office history. It has also become the highest grossing Malayalam film Global as its collection has crossed the Mark Beating Manzmemel Boys score of Rs 250 crore. But in India, Manjummel boys Still is the highest grossing Malayalam film with a collection of Rs 141.61 crore.
2019 blockbuster sequel LuciferDespite a noticeable decline on the day 2 (Rs 11.1 crore), the film stabilized in the weekend and continued to attract the audience in its first week, wrapping with a total of Rs 88.25 crore.
The second weekend started on a slightly soft note, with the day 9 (second Friday) was drawn for Rs 2.9 crore. However, the film showed flexibility, recorded an estimated Rs 3.5 crore on its second Saturday, thus raising its total India net collection to Rs 94.65 crore.
