The lawyers of Mahmud Khalil said that the Nazis have more rights in the US than the anti -Israeli protesters.
Palestinian student activist Mahmud Khalil, whose arrest, provoked protests in universities across the US described their custody as “administrative error” and alleged that the evidence against him was based on “sensational tubloids”.
“Last Friday, I was sitting in a court room because an immigration judge determined that the government could deport me despite my status as a legal permanent resident and despite that the government’s claims against me were baseless – most of its” evidence “removed from sensational tuboids directly,” Khalil wrote.

The graduate student of Columbia University and the leading face of the Campus Protest Movement said he was surprised how soon his case was processed.
He wrote, “I think of the breakcation speed with which my case was heard and decided, riding a rough on the appropriate process,” he wrote. He compared his experience to a Japanese American Mitsuy Ando, who challenged his war -time chaos in the case that reached the US Supreme Court.
Khalil said, “The rights are given to those who align with power. For the poor, for the people who oppose injustice, there are rights, but the words written on water,” Khalil said.
“When it comes to Palestine, the right to free speech has always been exceptionally weak. Nevertheless, action on universities and students suggests that the White House is the idea of freedom to enter the mainstream in Palestine’s freedom. Trump officials not only try to deport me, but I also do it wrongly wrongly that I am standing and what I am standing?” He wrote again.
Last Friday, Judge Jamie E. Commons ruled that the government had met the legal limit to deport Khalil on the basis of foreign policy. US State Secretary Marco Rubio cited a law used rarely, arguing that Khalil’s activism introduced “potential serious foreign policy results” to the United States. In the letter to the court, Rubio accused him of participating in “anti -Jew opposition and disruptive activities”, although no crime has been committed.
Khalil’s lawyers called the verdict “a weapon of immigration law to suppress dissatisfaction” and said that they would appeal. They have till 23 April to seek exemption.

Despite the pressure, Khalil said that his beliefs are unchanged. “Like thousands of students, whom I advocated in Colombia – including Muslim, Jews and Christian friends – I believe in the innate equality of all humans,” he wrote. “I believe in human dignity.
