New Delhi: Gujarat Titans (GT) Captain Shubman Gill won the toss and opted for field against first Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in his IPL Clash on Wednesday.
Gujarat Titans, 2022 champions, made the same change, brought to Arshad Khan in place of their speed, which was unavailable for personal reasons.
“We will bowl first. Looks like a good wicket. We have noticed the situation does not change too much here. Our focus is on reducing unexpected errors and proper-exactly the major areas. Kagiso is out of personal reasons, so we have brought Arshad Khan,” Gill said in the toss.

Do you agree with Shubman Gill’s decision to leave pacery to play?

Rabada protects from the speed between 140–150 km per hour, and his fastest recorded ball reached 155.28 km per hour while playing against Punjab Kings during the 2024 IPL season.
RCB, playing its first domestic game of the season, retained the same play XI. Captain Rajat Patidar admitted that he would like to bowl first but was confident in his team’s balance.

“Will be bowled before before because it is a new surface. It looks very difficult and not much should be changed. The way boys are moving, he gives me a lot of confidence as a captain. We love this crowd – their support has always been incredible. The same team is also for us,” said the Patidar.
